The range of food is excellent, with very reasonable prices.
The nearby sandy beaches make St Malo a great place to visit weather you are staying or just visiting for the day. Make sure to visit the chateau of Saint Malo, part of which is now the town museum. You can get a brief tour around this for a few Euros. There is also the beautiful cathedral to visit in the old town with beautiful stain glass windows to add to your holiday snaps.
Portsmouth
Portsmouth ferry terminal is located directly off the M27 and easily reached from London, the Midlands and the North. The return journey sets off at 10.30am and is much quicker than the trip there.
