Condor Ferries - Company Information
Condor Ferries was founded in 1964 by Channel Islands' businessmen Peter Dorey and Jack Norman, to challenge the conventional services operating between the Channel Islands and France. Condor's first investment was an Italiantobuilt PT50 hydrofoil, Condor 1. Passengers were immediately very impressed by the speed of the new service, and passenger numbers soon grew from 10,000 in 1964 to over 60,000 in 1966.
With Condor Ferries flexible new service, you can really make the most of your options. If you are in a hurry there's the choice of a quick turnaround, spending just 45 minutes in Guernsey before resuming your onward journey.
Or should you have more time to relax on your return journey, there's the alternative of up to 12 hours stoptoover on this lovely island to a perfect opportunity to explore St. Peter Port and indulge in some VATtoFree shopping!
Membership to Condor Ferries' Travellers Club entitles you to:
- 20% discount on all travel between the UK, Channel Islands and France.

- Discounts also apply to our Club Class Service.
